Gluten Intolerance Rapid Test
Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder caused by an immune reaction to the gluten protein found in wheat, barley, rye, and some other grains. When a person with celiac disease consumes foods containing gluten, the body triggers an immune response that damages the lining of the small intestine.
As a result of the immune reaction to gluten, the absorptive capacity of the small intestine decreases, and nutrients are not properly absorbed. Over time, this can lead to nutrient deficiencies, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and other health problems. Symptoms can vary widely and may affect the digestive system, skin, joints, nervous system, and other organs.
People with celiac disease must follow a strict gluten-free diet, which excludes foods containing gluten. This includes wheat, barley, rye, and products made from them. It is important for individuals with celiac disease to carefully read food labels to avoid hidden sources of gluten.
Celiac disease is a common condition, and its exact cause is not fully understood. Genetic factors may also play a role in the development of the disease, and multiple family members may be affected. Diagnosis is usually made based on blood tests and intestinal biopsy.
Although celiac disease cannot be cured, following a strict gluten-free diet can eliminate symptoms and allow the small intestine to recover. It is important for people with celiac disease to regularly consult their doctor and dietitian to ensure proper nutrient intake and effective disease management.
A French-manufactured home-use gluten intolerance rapid test can assist in the detection of gluten intolerance.

- 1 pipette
- 1 finger-prick lancet
- 1 disinfectant wipe

Test Procedure
Please read the Instructions for Use carefully before performing the test.
Step 1
-
Open the pouch and remove the test cassette. Place it on a clean, flat surface.
-
Unscrew the cap of the vial containing the sample dilution buffer, open the plastic tube, and place the capillary tube within reach.
Step 2
-
Wash your hands with soap and warm water, then dry them before proceeding.
-
Remove the disinfectant wipe from its pouch, disinfect your fingertip, and wait until it dries.
-
Take the lancet and remove the transparent cap. Place the red end against your finger and press firmly until you feel a small prick.
-
Gently press the fingertip to form a large drop of blood.
Step 3
-
Hold the capillary tube horizontally and place it into the drop of blood until it is completely filled.
-
Place the filled capillary tube into the vial containing the sample dilution buffer and close it with the cap.
-
Mix the contents by turning the vial upside down several times until the blood in the capillary tube is fully mixed with the buffer solution.
-
Remove the cap again and use the pipette to collect the diluted sample by pressing the rubber bulb.
-
Hold the pipette vertically and place 3 drops of the diluted sample into the sample well (S) of the test cassette.
Step 4
-
Note the time and wait 5 minutes before reading the result.
-
Place the adhesive bandage on your finger.
-
Read the result after 5 minutes. Results read after 10 minutes are invalid.

Negative
One line appears, the control line (C). The line may be light or dark. You are unlikely to have celiac disease.
Invalid
No control line (C) appears, or neither control (C) nor test line (T) appears. Your home test is inconclusive or invalid.
