INTRASITE Sterile Hydrogel (15 g)

A clear, amorphous hydrogel composed of modified carboxymethylcellulose polymer, propylene glycol, and water. It supports the autolytic debridement of necrotic tissue by gently rehydrating and loosening devitalized areas. The gel also binds and absorbs slough and wound exudate while maintaining a moist wound-healing environment. It does not adhere to the wound, is non-cytotoxic, and is gentle on the surrounding skin. Bacteriostatic properties help reduce the risk of infection. Requires a suitable secondary dressing depending on the condition and exudate level of the wound. Supplied in single-use packaging.

Indications

For the removal of devitalized tissue from shallow, undermined, or deep wounds, such as:

• Pressure ulcers

• Venous leg ulcers

• Diabetic foot ulcers

• Malignant wounds

• Burns and scalds

• Surgical wounds

• Traumatic wounds

• Abrasions

• Amputations

• Fungating ulcers

Also suitable for treating cavity wounds with granulation tissue and radiation-induced skin damage.
