Advantages of BACTIGRAS Dressing
-
Chlorhexidine is a well-established antiseptic agent effective against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, including MRSA.
-
Does not stick to the wound, even in case of abrasions.
-
Made of an open-weave fabric that allows viscous exudate to pass through to the secondary dressing, and can be removed in one piece from the wound.
-
Can remain on the wound for up to four days.
Indications
-
For local application on wounds at risk of infection or on infected wounds (in the latter case, used alongside systemic antibacterial treatment).
-
Suitable for coverage of minor burns and scalds, torn wounds, abrasions, other skin loss injuries, as well as donor and recipient graft sites.
