The rapid test is designed for the qualitative detection of Trichomonas Vaginalis antigen from vaginal swab samples. The infection rates between men and women are similar; however, women typically show symptoms, while infections in men are generally asymptomatic. Symptoms in women include vaginitis, profuse greenish discharge, itching of the labia, painful urination, and urethritis. Transmission generally occurs through direct skin-to-skin contact with an infected person, most commonly via vaginal intercourse. This product is intended for professional use only.
